This restaurant shares a parking lot with the hotel we stayed at. The restaurant doesn’t look like much from outside but is very cute on the inside. The staff were lovely. The menu had both typical “dinner food” as well as “Chinese Canadian food”. The best part was, the menu held a variety of delicious gluten free options! We had a noodle dish and also the beef and Brocoli with rice. The portions were massive! The vegetables were fresh and well prepared. We will definitely return when in town for our next tournament.

We had a delicious serving of fish and chips with homemade coleslaw and dilly Tartar sauce. My side of gravy was savoury beef perfection! Great service, busy diner ambience!

We came in as part of an expected larger group, and they were very accommodating. The waitress was very good at her job! Very pleasant and quick. The kitchen did a great job on all of the meals. Very good dining experience!

The first time I've ever eaten here. Won't be the last! I ordered a steak and it was cooked perfectly. The fries were crispy and the dessert was A! I had the pleasure of having Bethany as a server. Very professional and polite. Always checked on me and my coffee. Will recommend this great place. Thank you for a great meal

First time at The Diner, but it was highly recommended as the best Chinese Food in Lloydminster. Definitely would not know it based on the previous review photos as there were no pics of Chinese food. I got 4 dishes for takeout (Dec 17, 2024) and everything was GREAT. ONE thing that is funny is the online review system has 20 dishes you can pick from in your review that you would recommend and NOT ONE of my dishes was on the list; BUT I would highly recommend them all! 1. BONELESS SWEET & SOUR PORK 2. GINGER BEEF 3. BEEF & BROCCOLI 4. SPECIAL FRIED RICE WITH SHRIMP, CHICKEN AND MUSHROOMS I ALMOST never ordered the Special Fried Rice because almost 2 more than the other Fried Rice options BUT GO FOR IT - one of the best fried rice dishes I have ever tried!! For those who don't know where it is located, and want to try THE DINER, it is directly across the parking lot from the front doors of Spiro's, another great food option, and in the same building but opposite corner of Second Cup.

We stopped by today for the first time and enjoyed delicious food! I had a Caesar salad as my husband had Fish and Chips, they were huge!! My sister in law tried the Chinese food, everything was delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant! We're returning again in the future Tanis was our server, and she was amazing and patient with us. If you near the area stop by.

Always such amazing food. Really good portions. Love the space. Can't go wrong here. I love their eggs Benny, their burgers and their Chinese food. Good gluten free options as well

My boyfriend and I came for Sunday brunch. The service was super friendly and the food delicious. Portions were much larger than expected and we both left full, with leftovers. Very cute spot in Lloyd and I am excited to try more of the menu! The bubble waffles as a benedict was truly amazing.
